A nationwide sympathy walk
and justice for fallen police commandos which was participated by the policemen,
firefighters, jailers, private individuals, and families of the 44 slain Philippine
National Police - Special Action Forces (PNP-SAF) commandos last March 7, 2015.
This sympathy walk is to
commemorate the 44th day after the killing of the “Fallen 44” in a
Mamasapano, Maguindanao, Philippines encounter on January 25, 2015. This is
also to extend sympathies to the widows and dependents of the 44 Special Action
Force commandos, who died in an operation to arrest Malaysian terrorist
Zulkifli Bin Hir, alias Marwan.
The PNP Academy Alumni
Association Inc. (PNPAAAI) initiated the march with participants wearing white
T-shirts emblazoned with “Walk with the widows, run for our heroes”, while
carrying placards bearing the photos of the slain 44.
Still No Justice for the
Fallen 44 and Investigation is ongoing.
