Harrison Ford Plane Crash-Lands at LA Golf Course

Harrison Ford piloting a Ryan PT-22 Recruit plane crash landed at Los Angeles golf course Thursday (March 5, 2015) approximately 2:24p.m. Shortly after it took off from Santa Monica Airport and reported to the Santa Monica Municipal Airport tower that Ford reported “engine failure” and request “immediate return”.

Ford was bleeding and suffering gashes on his head after the plane crash landed at Penmar golf course in Venice, TMZ reports.

According to Patrick Butler of the Los Angeles Fire Department, the patient was "alert, conscious and breathing." He did not identify Ford as the pilot, but said the "patient was outside the plane when paramedics arrived on scene," and that "it's unclear if he was ejected." Butler said the patient was in "fair to moderate" condition and no other person reported injured.
